Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on the 13th of February, 1979) is an American actress fashion designer and model. She started her modeling career in the year 1990, and then moved into acting, after guest appearances on television series like Boy Meets World or High Incident. Her first film appearance was on 1997's drama Nowhere. Her transition into important roles thanks to her performance as a character in American Beauty for which she received nominations for the BAFTA Award and American Pie and American Pie, both of which gained her wider attention. She has appeared with American Pie's co-star Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) and then played the main character for the film Sugar & Spice (2001).
